We all take the loss of loved ones in different ways. Grief can come out in various ways - tears, anger, quietness etc.

All as I can really say is that grief goes hand in hand with love, the more you love someone, the more you grieve when they pass away.

If you feel that you are not getting through the grieving period as well as you would like, then don't be ashamed or embarrassed about it, let someone help you.

The best person to help is a Qualified Bereavement Counsellor.

They will do their utmost to help and get you through this sad time.

If you want to try and get through this period on your own, there is one thing that you could try and that is to create a "Memory Box" or a "Memory Book".

In the box or book you can include:- Photographs of your loved one (and yourself) of memorable or special events, perhaps even painful events, poetry, letters, birthday cards, Christmas cards, anniversary cards, special items like jewellery or embroidery. In fact, you can include anything that meant a lot to you and your loved one. You can also add little decorations or artwork to make it look pretty. You might like to share this with other members of your family and can add to it whenever you want to.
